We are seeking a skilled Medical Equipment Delivery Specialist to join our team at Rotech Healthcare Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering and setting up medical equipment at patient homes, educating patients and caregivers on safe use and maintenance, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of respiratory and home medical equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver and set up medical equipment at patient homes
- Provide education and training to patients and caregivers on safe use and maintenance of medical equipment
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of respiratory and home medical equipment
- Develop and maintain working knowledge of current medical equipment and services offered by Rotech
- Assist in resolving customer equipment problems under emergency conditions
- Complete shipping papers when transporting hazardous materials in accordance with Rotech policy and procedures
- Maintain assigned company vehicle in a clean and safe working condition
- High school diploma or GED equivalent, required
- Experience with medical equipment, preferred
- One year of related work experience, preferred
- Medical terminology, preferred
- Ability to accurately perform simple mathematical calculations
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
