We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our team at St. David's South Austin Medical Center. About the Role

As an Emergency Department Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing assessments and developing plans of care for assigned patients
  • Collaborating with other healthcare disciplines to refine and achieve plans of care
  • Continually monitoring patients' physical condition, emotional, and social needs
  • Providing health care teaching to patients and families
  • Evaluating patient progression towards attainment of outcomes and documenting the effectiveness of interventions
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1 year of Emergency Department experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification within 1 year of employment start date
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification or TNCC Instructor certification within 1 year of employment start date
