This role is pivotal in enhancing manufacturing processes and equipment reliability within a dynamic engineering environment. The Senior Process Engineer collaborates closely with various teams to ensure the seamless operation of manufacturing systems.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive engineering enhancements and upgrades for manufacturing equipment, translating design requirements into actionable specifications.
  • Champion Lean methodologies to foster operational excellence, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and quality improvement.
  • Oversee verification deliverables for significant capital projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities to uphold system integrity and performance.
  • Guide outsourced verification teams in delivering quality assurance documentation.
  • Formulate commissioning and testing protocols for equipment modifications.
  • Prioritize safety in all operational activities, including commissioning and validation processes.
  • Support Quality Assurance in Performance Qualification (PQ) initiatives as necessary.
  • Act as a liaison between engineering and manufacturing sectors during project phases.
  • Monitor system performance to identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Lead problem-solving initiatives to minimize production interruptions, employing root cause analysis techniques.
  • Facilitate the introduction of new technologies by conducting engineering assessments and supporting operational trials.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental health and safety regulations throughout all processes.
  • Provide technical support and mentorship to manufacturing and maintenance teams.
  • Assist in developing performance metrics to track project success.
  • Willingness to travel domestically for training and collaboration.
  • Availability for flexible work hours to accommodate operational needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in a biopharmaceutical manufacturing setting.
  • Familiarity with regulatory environments and quality systems.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and designing biopharmaceutical production equipment.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience in managing capital projects in a regulated production environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
