Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in the Wichita region. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will provide treatment of speech and/or language disorders, including problems with sound production, understanding, and communication.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate consumers' mental abilities and develop effective therapy strategies.
  • Implement individualized plans of care, incorporating employment, educational, and independent living goals.
  • Collaborate with consumers and other professionals to monitor progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
  • Provide education and training to families and caregivers on brain injury strategies and techniques.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of consumer progress and communicate effectively with healthcare teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and attend required trainings and workshops.
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with consumers, colleagues, and community agencies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited university.
  • Current eligibility for the Clinical Fellowship Year.
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
  • Excellent time management skills, creativity, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic to moderate technology skills, including proficiency in electronic medical records systems.

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
