Role Overview
As a Senior Backend Engineer within the Connectivity division, you will collaborate with various teams responsible for developing and maintaining integrations with financial institutions. Your contributions will be vital in ensuring the success of our expansion efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Take charge of the design and implementation of critical components within projects.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and stakeholders to identify and resolve bottlenecks, streamline dependencies, and establish clear boundaries within the architecture.
- Design and implement robust data processing infrastructures capable of handling vast amounts of data.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing.
- Define standards for new product features and work closely with Technical Product Managers to break down solutions into manageable tasks.
- Support operational teams in troubleshooting and conducting root cause analysis.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 5 years with an advanced degree, or 2 years with a PhD.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 9 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 7 years with an advanced degree, or 3 years with a PhD.
- Proficiency in Java or other backend programming languages.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience in building and utilizing REST APIs and knowledge of Spring Technologies.
Work Environment
This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing for a combination of remote and in-office work, with expectations to be present in the office for a set number of days each week.
