We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Youth Music Educator to join our team at Crossroads YMCA Inc. As a Music Program Facilitator, you will be responsible for delivering engaging music lessons to young minds, inspiring their passion for music and creativity.
Key Responsibilities- Lead music activities that promote a welcoming and fun environment for participants.
- Create memorable and educational experiences for children through music.
- Provide excellent customer service to members, guests, and program participants.
- Supervise and participate in activities with all children.
- Implement curriculum and activity plans within established guidelines.
- Enforce YMCA policies and procedures in a positive way.
- Maintain required program records and equipment needs.
- Minimum age 16 required.
- Must be flexible to work evenings and weekends.
- Certifications required within 30 days of hire: CPR/AED & First Aid, New Employee Orientation, and online trainings.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to relate and communicate effectively to diverse groups of people.
- Must have a passion for working with young children.
