Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our team at UNC REX Healthcare. As a Clinical Nurse II, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide competent clinical nursing care to patients on the 3 East Medical Observation Unit, utilizing the nursing process and adhering to professional standards.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Participate in education and training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge, and share your expertise with colleagues.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by promoting teamwork, communication, and a culture of excellence.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
  • One year of nursing experience, preferably in a medical observation unit.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
