Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ammonia Refrigeration Program Manager to join our team at The Kraft Heinz Company. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our ammonia refrigeration systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Management of Change (MOC) Process: Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive MOC process to ensure that all changes to our ammonia refrigeration systems are properly assessed and approved.
  • Coordinate and Ensure PHA's are Performed: Oversee the performance of Process Hazard Analyses (PHA's) for our ammonia refrigeration systems to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Ensure PSM Program is Audit Ready: Maintain a robust Process Safety Management (PSM) program that is compliant with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Coordinate Quarterly Updates: Schedule and coordinate quarterly updates to the facility manager and affected employees on all PHA open items, Compliance Audit open Exceptions and Recommendations, and Mechanical Integrity Inspection open defects.
  • Assist with Hot Work Program and Emergency Action Plan: Collaborate with the facility ORM to manage the Hot Work Program and Emergency Action Plan to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Develop and Maintain Procedures: Ensure that proper preventative maintenance procedures are written and revised as necessary for all ammonia equipment, and that operating procedures are written, maintained current, and accurate for all ammonia equipment.
  • Provide PSM Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to Refrigeration Operators to ensure that they are trained and competent to perform their duties safely and efficiently.
  • Network with PSM Team: Network with the Kraft Heinz PSM Team to remain aligned, up to date on information, and current on the direction being shared across all Kraft Heinz ammonia refrigeration facilities.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma (or Equivalent): Required.
  • Ammonia Refrigeration Experience: A minimum of one year working experience with ammonia refrigeration systems and associated PSM requirements.
  • PSM Program Experience: Must have experience with PSM programs from the manufacturing industry.
  • Technical Knowledge: Working and technical knowledge of refrigeration and maintenance systems, equipment installation/startups, and plant utility equipment.
  • Leadership Skills: Good interpersonal and team skills to function as a team member and leader, and good organizational skills, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and possess good leadership skills.
