We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Ontario Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Expert Care: As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of our residents, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and providing direct patient care.
- Collaborate with the Team: You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure that our residents receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Document Resident Care: You will maintain accurate and detailed records of resident care, including progress notes, medication administration records, and other relevant documentation.
- Ensure a Safe Environment: You will adhere to infection-control policies and protocols to protect our residents and staff from harm.
- Resolve Resident Concerns: You will work with our residents and their families to resolve any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Maintain Quality of Care: You will ensure that our residents receive the highest quality of care by adhering to our facility's philosophies and standards of care.
- Current RN License: You must be a licensed Registered Nurse in the state of New York.
- Long-Term Care Experience: While not required, experience in long-term care is preferred.
- Strong Communication Skills: You must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Computer Skills: You must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
- Team Player: You must be able to work effectively as part of a team.
