Medical Assistant Professional

Xpress Wellness Urgent Care is seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide top-notch patient care and excellent customer service in a dynamic team environment.
Responsibilities- Take and record vital signs, medical history, and patient symptoms accurately and efficiently.
- Assist healthcare providers during examinations and treatments, ensuring a smooth and effective patient experience.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by providers, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
- Collect lab specimens and perform basic lab tests, maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
- Verify and update patient information in electronic medical records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare and clean exam rooms before and after patient visits, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Educate patients on medications, treatments, and self-care procedures, promoting patient empowerment and understanding.
- This position will require training in X-Ray, ensuring proficiency and competence in this area.
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in healthcare and patient care.
- CPR/BLS certification preferred, with a commitment to maintaining current certifications.
- Proficient computer skills, with experience in electronic medical records and other healthcare software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, providers, and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
- Willingness to work weekends and/or holidays when needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- Compassionate and professional demeanor, with a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and service.
