Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team. As a CRNA, you will play a crucial role in delivering safe and effective anesthesia care to patients across a wide range of procedures.

CRNA Responsibilities
  • Administering anesthesia and closely monitoring patients during surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures.
  • Collaborating with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized anesthesia plans.
  • Administering appropriate types and dosages of anesthesia medications to ensure patient comfort and safety.
  • Monitoring vital signs, adjusting anesthesia levels as needed, and responding promptly to any complications or emergencies.
  • Providing post-anesthesia care and ensuring patients' smooth transition from anesthesia to recovery.
CRNA Qualifications
  • Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist License.
  • Licensure from the Maine State Board of Nursing or Compact Licensure.
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certification.
  • CALS certification is preferred.
  • Experience in providing anesthesia services in a hospital or surgical center setting is preferred.
