Job Title: Physical Therapist - Pediatric Expert
About the Role: As a Physical Therapist - Pediatric Expert with MGA Homecare, you will have the opportunity to work with pediatric patients and their families, providing expert physical therapy services and interventions. Your role will be to deliver skilled physical therapy services and interventions to pediatric patients with genetic, neurological, cognitive, and orthopedic disorders within natural learning environments, including homes and community settings.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver Expert Physical Therapy Services: Provide expert physical therapy services and interventions to pediatric patients dealing with genetic, neurological, cognitive, and orthopedic disorders within natural learning environments, including homes and community settings.
- Conduct Comprehensive Evaluations: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and adjust treatment plans to align with individual patient needs.
- Teaching and Counseling Services: Offer teaching and counseling services to both patients and their families, fostering a supportive and informative therapeutic process.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate seamlessly with a multidisciplinary team, actively participating in the planning and evaluation of team goals for each patient.
- Documentation: Ensure precise and timely documentation, adhering to the standards set by the department and regulatory agencies.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorates degree from an accredited therapy program.
- Licensure: Active state licensure as required or in progress.
- Experience: At least 1 pediatric clinical rotation, preferred.
- Certifications: CPR Certification.
