Role Summary
The Senior HR Business Partner is tasked with gaining a profound understanding of organizational priorities and proactively implementing people strategies to meet those goals. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this role involves close collaboration with the business to provide both tactical and strategic insights on various people-related matters, including talent management, recruitment, employee relations, coaching and development, compensation, conflict resolution, organizational growth, and training. The ideal candidate will adeptly manage competing priorities, resolve issues, and engage with a diverse range of stakeholders throughout the organization. This role embodies a servant leadership approach, prioritizing the development and performance of others.

Key Responsibilities

  • Align HR initiatives with business objectives, offering guidance on people strategies to drive desired outcomes.
  • Serve as the HR leader and strategic advisor, acting as the primary contact for leaders and employees on matters related to employee relations, performance management, recruitment, compensation, learning and development, employee engagement, compliance, and succession planning.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Manage and resolve intricate employee relations challenges, conducting thorough and impartial investigations.
  • Research and analyze HR policies and practices to recommend enhancements that align with market standards and industry practices. Ensure clear communication and equitable application of HR policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to achieve recruitment objectives, including crafting and maintaining accurate job descriptions, managing staffing levels in accordance with headcount plans, enhancing talent pipelines, screening candidates, extending offers, and overseeing the onboarding process.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of legal requirements related to employee management, minimizing legal risks and ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Provide ongoing performance management support to management, including coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions.
  • Work closely with management and employees to foster a positive work culture, enhance morale, and improve productivity and retention.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree is required.
  • On-site position.
  • SHRM or PHR certification is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%.
  • A minimum of 8 years of comprehensive HR experience is essential.
  • Experience within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment is preferred.
  • A proven track record as an HR business partner, demonstrating resilience in upholding corporate policies and procedures.
  • Extensive knowledge across multiple HR disciplines, including compensation, employee relations, policy development, performance management, and relevant employment laws.
  • Proven ability to cultivate effective relationships.
  • A positive leadership approach with the capability to confront challenges directly.
  • Experience in independently managing employee relations issues.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
