Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Restorative Justice Healing Initiative (RJHI).
- Facilitate and mediate restorative justice conferences.
- Support youth in achieving their individualized restorative justice goals.
- Provide mentorship to participants involved in the RJHI.
- Manage interactions related to youth conflicts and restorative processes.
- Collaborate with victim services to foster dialogue and healing.
- Advocate impartially for both youth and their victims.
- Conduct all interactions in a respectful and supportive manner.
- Demonstrate effective communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Maintain a therapeutic and safe environment for all participants.
- Document and report on program activities and participant progress.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with youth and staff.
- Exhibit ethical behavior and uphold professional standards.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of two years' experience in restorative justice practices, including various conferencing methods.
- A degree from an accredited institution along with relevant experience is preferred.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and sensitivity in challenging situations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
