Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a visible deterrent against theft, fraud, sabotage, fire hazards, and accidents
  • Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas
  • Monitor and report on activities
  • Utilize surveillance techniques
  • Manage access control
  • Provide safety escorts
  • Use provided communication devices effectively
  • Uphold SSNW's brand image
  • Wear the designated uniform appropriately
  • Complete Daily Activity Reports (DAR)
  • Document incidents accurately
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services
  • Offer friendly assistance to clients, staff, and visitors in accordance with established procedures
  • Perform additional duties as outlined in the Post Orders
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Smartphone for accessing scheduling, clocking in/out, and reporting applications
  • Reliable means of transportation
  • Demonstrated honesty and integrity
  • Able to work flexible hours, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be eligible to obtain a Washington State Unarmed Security Guard License
  • Ability to respond effectively in high-pressure situations
Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in public safety or military service is preferred
  • Familiarity with security protocols and equipment
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to perform regular foot patrols
  • Capable of standing for 8-12 hours per day
  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds

  • 10-hour shifts
  • 12-hour shifts
  • 8-hour shifts
  • Day, Evening, and Night shifts
  • Weekends as required
Experience:
  • 3 years in security, military, or law enforcement preferred
License/Certification:
  • Security Guard License (Required)
