Responsibilities
As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, direct patient care. Your duties will include performing essential tasks according to departmental protocols and effectively communicating observations to the healthcare team. Under the guidance of the Unit Manager or Licensed Nurse, you will provide direct care to residents/patients, ensuring adherence to unit policies and procedures. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with daily living activities such as dressing, bathing, transporting, and feeding residents/patients.
- Documenting care provided in accordance with established guidelines.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant in Michigan must be obtained within 120 days.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC is required within 90 days.
- A valid Driver's License is necessary for specific roles.
Employment Details
This position is part-time, with day shifts scheduled from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. You will be expected to work every other weekend and participate in holiday rotations.
