Speech-Language Pathologist - School-Based Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our educational team in the River Ridge, Louisiana area. This school-based role involves working directly with students to assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of speech and language disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate students for speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Provide direct speech therapy services to students in various educational settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student progress
  • Monitor and document students' progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review student progress and provide input on educational strategies
Qualifications:
  • Louisiana SLP licensure required
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • SLP certification preferred, but CFY candidates will be considered
  • Previous experience working in school settings is preferred but not required
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
