Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assigned duties according to procedures and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Greet guests promptly and courteously, and seat them in a timely manner.
  • Be aware of table status and control seating times to ensure efficient service.
  • Help service guests as necessary, including taking drink orders, rolling silverware, and bussing tables.
  • Know how to ring up all transactions and all tenders, and accurately handle cash and credit transactions.
  • Assist the Service Attendants/Counter Attendants/Culinary areas when needed, and maintain a positive and professional attitude.
  • Handle and solve any concerns and questions from customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Keep all guest areas clean and neat, and comply with all appearance standards.
Requirements:
  • High volume dining experience preferred.
  • OpenTable or reservation system knowledge recommended.
  • Understands variance policy of cash drawer and maintains low variance.
  • 1-year experience in customer service.
  • Must possess basic math skills and be able to count cash drawer accurately.
  • Must possess excellent customer service/communication skills.
  • Available to work required schedule, which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
  • Must be able to maintain a neat, professional, well-groomed appearance and uphold company appearance/dress standards.
Working Conditions:
  • Must be able to maneuver to all areas of assigned restaurant throughout entire shift.
  • Must be able to accurately and quickly process all cash transactions.
  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke.
  • Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
