Job Description:

Fluor is seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Infrastructure Safety Specialist for the I-35 Northeast Expansion (NEX) South project in San Antonio, Texas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of Fluor's Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards, programs, and goals.
  • Assess the project site to ensure adherence to Company and regulatory HSE standards and guidelines.
  • Promote HSE standards and goals through training and development of simple HSE project plans and specifications.
  • Support the development of reports and documents required to meet corporate or regulatory requirements.
  • Adhere to and support Fluor's Health, Safety, and Environmental and Sustainability Policies.
About the Project:

The I-35 NEX South Project aims to add capacity to one of the most congested corridors in the state, handling over 140,000 vehicles per day. As an Infrastructure Safety Specialist, you will play a critical role in promoting a safe work environment and preventing human injury, environmental degradation, and unsafe working conditions.

Requirements:
  • Elementary knowledge of HSE procedures and standards.
  • Ability to assess project sites and promote HSE standards.
  • Strong communication and training skills.
  • Ability to maintain reports and documents.
