Biologics Program Leader

About this opportunity:
At Takeda Pharmaceutical, we are seeking a Biologics Program Leader to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading biologics programs from early discovery to IND, utilizing your expertise in antibody discovery and optimization.
You will set high standards for execution and rigor of thought, possessing in-depth knowledge of antibody-based discovery and optimization techniques. Your experience in mining and triaging antibody repertoires, as well as providing guidance on strategies towards candidate profiles, will be invaluable.
You will also identify and drive efficient paths for workflow progression, drive research strategy within the sub-team, and foster innovation.
In addition, you will contribute to deepening the expertise through external network development, evaluating new opportunities in partnership with business development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scientific leader: Set high standards for effectiveness of execution and rigor of thought
- Program Leader: Lead biologics programs from discovery to IND, integrating early research and progression through candidate nomination and selection
- People Leader: Organizational leader accountable for the performance and results of this significant research function
Requirements:
- PhD degree in a scientific discipline with 10+ years of experience or MS with 16+ years of experience or BS with 18+ years of experience
- 9 years of Industry experience required
- 9 years of managerial experience required
Compensation and Benefits:
- Estimated salary range: $169,400.00 - $266,200.00 per annum
- Eligibility for short-term and/or long-term incentives
