Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Butler, WI. As a Quality Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our medical devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform floor inspections on in-house, customer, and supplier parts using established procedures
  • Maintain accurate inspection data in the Inspection Process Sheet
  • Issue Material Review Board (MRB) reports for non-conforming products
  • Communicate findings to Shift Production Supervisors
  • Provide guidance to operators on Visual Inspection Criteria (VIC)
  • Operate specialized equipment including computerized optical comparators and coordinate measuring machines

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-3 years of quality inspection experience in manufacturing
  • Proficiency in using measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
  • Basic computer skills, including Excel
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Familiarity with ISO 9000/13485 fundamentals (preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently during night hours
