Key Responsibilities- Supervision: Lead the construction team and manage subcontractor activities to ensure project milestones are met.
- Safety Compliance: Participate in safety training programs and enforce safety protocols on-site.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain essential project documentation, including CPM schedules and reports.
- Quality Assurance: Establish and uphold quality control standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Resource Management: Order materials and tools efficiently to prevent supply shortages.
- Communication: Foster confidence with Owners and Architects through regular updates and meetings.
- Training and Development: Recruit, train, and coordinate the field construction team, including subcontractors.
- Project Close-Out: Ensure timely completion of punch lists and document final project acceptance.
- A degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture, or equivalent experience (minimum 4 years as Assistant Superintendent).
- Extensive supervisory experience in field construction.
- Current Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) Certification or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
- Proficient in reading and understanding specifications across various trades.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and job scheduling practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a sense of urgency.
