Job Summary

The CT Imaging Specialist performs routine and specialized imaging procedures in the application of ionizing radiation in accordance with established professional and departmental standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist and position patients on the CT table with compassion and care.
  • Start IVs for contrast injection and perform necessary procedures.
  • Assess image quality and make adjustments as needed.
  • Release patients with proper post-procedure instructions.
  • Turn over and prepare the room using aseptic technique between patients and clean/sterilize equipment.
  • Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Current License as an MRT by the State of Texas required.
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) (CT) required.
  • Current Healthcare Provider BLS issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
