Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of maintenance staff and provide guidance on cleaning, upkeep, and repair of base area buildings.
  • Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and ensure working keys and locks are in place.
  • Oversee daily cleaning duties, including bathroom cleaning, trash management, and biohazard cleanup.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies, including fire suppression systems, fire department regulations, and OSHA regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date with Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and ensure its proper use.
  • Manage HVAC systems and ensure they are in working order.
  • Perform hiring and firing of departmental employees and provide timely employee feedback.
  • Operate within budgetary constraints and contribute to departmental budget proposals.
  • Work in conjunction with other departments to achieve company goals.
Requirements
  • Minimum Age: 21
  • Valid driver's license with a good company insurable driving record
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of two years supervisory and retail sales experience (ski industry preferred)
  • Ability to push, lift, and move up to 90 lbs.
  • Requires working at high elevation (up to 12,000') with extended exposure to adverse weather conditions.
