Job Description:

The role involves providing a comprehensive range of imaging interpretation, image-guided interventions, and patient care services within the specialty of Interventional Radiology. Candidates should be prepared to engage in call coverage and demonstrate proficiency in a variety of interventional procedures, including but not limited to TIPS/BRTO, radioembolization, ablation, and peripheral vascular interventions.

Ideal candidates will also maintain diagnostic radiology skills to ensure optimal service delivery to multidisciplinary teams.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Review and synthesize patient medical histories and relevant data.
  • Conduct evaluations and perform body/vascular interventional procedures efficiently, while managing high volumes of cases.
  • Utilize quality improvement methodologies to enhance patient care processes and outcomes.
  • Participate in policy development and other assigned duties.

Required Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree in Medicine from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited residency in Radiology.
  • Fellowship training in interventional radiology or relevant post-residency training.
  • Experience in Interventional Radiology is essential.

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Must be licensed as a Physician in Minnesota.
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Radiology.
  • Current BLS certification is required.

Physical Demands:

  • Medium Work: Lifting up to 32 lbs. occasionally and up to 25 lbs. frequently.
