Abbott Northwestern Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Interventional Radiologist to join our team. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for providing a spectrum of image interpretation, image-guided procedures, and patient care services within the specialty of Interventional Radiology.
Key Responsibilities- Review patients' medical history and collect, prioritize, and synthesize comprehensive data pertinent to their health or situation.
- Perform all body/vascular interventional and general diagnostic radiology, ER, and acute inpatient and outpatient cases with efficiency.
- Utilize quality improvement tools to develop processes that promote continuous improvement in delivery of patient care, patient outcomes, and patient flow.
- Participate in peer review and quality assurance.
- Policy and procedure creation.
- Doctoral/Ph.D. level advanced degree in Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from an approved school of Medicine.
- Completion of an accreditation council for graduate medical education (ACGME) or American osteopathic Association (AOA) accredited residency training program in Radiology.
- Fellowship training in interventional radiology, body, vascular/endovascular, or applicable post-residency training.
- Interventional Radiology experience required.
- Licensed Physician - Minnesota Board of Medical Practice required upon hire.
- BC/BE in Radiology, Neurosurgery, Neurology required.
- Must meet at least ONE of the requirements below:
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Current BLS certification from the American Red Cross
Allina in-house BLS training (upon hire)
