We are seeking a B Level Diesel Mechanic to join our team, who will, under supervision, repair and maintain our fleet of vehicles. The successful candidate will perform preventive maintenance services, inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles and equipment, and conduct safety checks on vehicles.

Responsibilities:


Perform routine maintenance services on vehicles and equipment
Inspect and diagnose issues with vehicles and equipment
Repair and maintain electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on vehicles and equipment
Conduct service calls and assist Lead Mechanics as needed
Review and complete repairs identified on Vehicle Condition Reports
Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with OSHA and organizational standards
Complete paperwork associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounts for applied times

Requirements:


Equivalent of (1) high school diploma or G.E.D. and 1 year of related equipment maintenance and repair; OR (2) 4 years of related equipment maintenance and repair
Valid driver's license

Physical Requirements:


Ability to handle tools and equipment
Ability to reach with hands and arms
Ability to climb and walk on heights often greater than 4 feet
Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
