Cybersecurity Incident Response Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Incident Response Specialist to join our team at Fortinet. As a key member of our incident response and forensics team, you will play a critical role in helping organizations respond to and manage cybersecurity incidents.
Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
Job Description:
Cybersecurity Incident Response
• Lead and manage incident response engagements from initiation to closure.
• Conduct thorough analysis of security threats and develop effective mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective incident response.
Digital Forensics
• Conduct forensic analysis of digital evidence to identify the root cause of security incidents.
• Develop and implement digital forensic procedures to ensure the integrity of evidence.
• Provide expert testimony in legal proceedings as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or related field.
• 10+ years' experience in cybersecurity incident response and/or digital forensics.
• Strong knowledge of operating system internals, endpoint security, and threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in time-critical situations and occasional nights and weekends work.
