Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of the Security Site Supervisor include:


  • Supervising the day-to-day operations of the assigned client site, including working as a security officer if needed
  • Managing a team of security officers, including participating in hiring, scheduling, payroll, training, and development, coaching, and discipline
  • Ensuring client and employee satisfaction through building effective relationships and proactive communications and management
  • Completing operational procedures, including reviewing logs, shift responsibilities, patrol round information, and reporting, and updating as needed
  • Handling escalated security issues or emergencies

Requirements

Requirements for the Security Site Supervisor include:


  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 3 years' experience as a security officer or directly related position
  • Able to acquire and maintain a valid Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC), including state accredited training requirements
  • Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
  • Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
  • Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather
