Job Overview:
The Mid-Michigan Area Public Schools Consortium is looking for one (1) Educational Support Specialist.
Responsibilities include:
  • Providing individualized tutoring sessions
  • Assisting in maintaining classroom order
  • Facilitating parental engagement initiatives
  • Delivering instructional assistance under the guidance of the lead educator
Candidate Requirements:
  • Must have completed a minimum of two years of higher education (equivalent to 60 semester hours) or
  • Possess an associate's degree or higher or
  • Achieve passing scores on the current state-approved basic skills assessment
Ideal Candidate:
  • Exhibits a strong attendance record
  • Demonstrates a warm and approachable demeanor towards students, colleagues, and supervisors
  • Possesses effective oral and written communication skills
  • Shows proficiency in interpersonal interactions
  • Willingness to accept guidance from certified personnel and administration
  • Maintains confidentiality and demonstrates respect
  • Preferred: additional training or relevant experience
  • Successful candidates will be required to undergo a background clearance check
