Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Restaurant Steward Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our Food and Beverage team, you will be responsible for assisting in the cleaning and organizing of our dining outlets, ensuring a seamless and exceptional guest experience.

Responsibilities
  • Promptly and carefully sort soiled ware to ensure efficient dishwashing and storage.
  • Wash and replace all ware in designated storage areas, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization.
  • Operate the dish machine, ensuring it is properly cleaned and filled with water according to hotel standards.
  • Use the burnishing machine to achieve a high-quality finish on silverware.
  • De-tarnish and polish silverware to maintain its appearance.
  • Clean kettles, tilt skillets, pots, and pans promptly and thoroughly, allowing cooks to focus on their work.
  • Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
  • Perform any other job-related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of service ware and its maintenance to enhance the guest experience.
  • Ability to push/pull service carts weighing up to 150 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to transport heavy objects through a crowded room with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to grasp, lift, and/or carry, or otherwise move or push goods on a hand cart/truck weighing a maximum of 200lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences.
