Job Summary

The Department Specialist will maintain a proper in-stock level of merchandise and strive for product knowledge in all areas of the store to enhance customer service. Department Specialists will also assist in maintaining clean and orderly merchandise presentation and overall store cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and outdoor merchandise area.
• Assist with receiving, checking in, and stocking merchandise in assigned department(s).
• Perform cycle counting and maintain desirable inventory levels in assigned department(s).
• Work with management staff to ensure preventative maintenance and repairs are completed to maximize and protect all physical assets.
• Participate in store meetings and communicate any merchandising, cost control, or sales ideas to management.
• Exhibit and incorporate our Core Values into daily decisions and interactions with others.

Requirements

• High School or GED equivalent.
• Floor sales and/or replenishment experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift (up to 25lbs), and climb.

Compensation

Minimum $14.00/hr
