Job Summary

The Department Specialists will maintain a proper in-stock level of merchandise and strive for product knowledge in all areas of the store to enhance customer service. Department Specialists will also assist in maintaining clean and orderly merchandise presentation and overall store cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

• Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and outdoor merchandise area.

• Assist with receiving, stocking, and facing merchandise to ensure accurate inventory levels and visual appeal.
  \t
• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to move merchandise throughout the store.
  \t
• Participate in store meetings and contribute to team discussions to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction.

• Communicate effectively with management and colleagues to ensure seamless store operations.
  \t
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and inventory management.
  \t
• Perform other duties as assigned by management to support store goals and objectives.
  

Requirements

•

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
  \t
• Floor sales and/or replenishment experience in a retail environment preferred.
  \t
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and climb ladders as needed.
  \t
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  \t
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  \t
• Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
