Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute experiments related to qPCR, gene manipulation, genome and microbiome analysis, and high throughput library screens.
  • Develop and implement laboratory protocols, standards, and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage laboratory inventory, instrumentation, and documentation to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Summarize data, assist in drafting reports and manuscripts, and present research findings at meetings and conferences.
  • Provide training and guidance to research assistants and graduate students on laboratory techniques and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the research team leader.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as microbiology, molecular biology, or a related discipline.
  • One year of relevant experience in a research laboratory setting, with a preference for candidates with a Master's degree or nearing completion of their doctoral degree.
  • Strong technical skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Compensation:

The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary range of USD $44,800.00 to USD $56,000.00 per year.
