Westchester Medical Center Health Network, a leading academic medical center in the region, seeks an accomplished Vitreoretinal Surgery Ophthalmologist to join our esteemed faculty. As a key member of our Department of Ophthalmology, you will contribute to our mission of providing exceptional patient care, medical education, and scholarly activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Participate in program-building activities and contribute to the growth of our academic group practice.
- Provide comprehensive care to patients, including trauma call at Westchester Medical Center and Maria Fareri Children's Hospital.
- Collaborate with our team of ophthalmologists to advance the mission of the center in providing state-of-the-art comprehensive care.
- Engage in clinical research, electrophysiology, pediatric retina, or inherited retinal disease, or other areas of interest.
- Completion of a Vitreoretinal fellowship.
- Eligibility to obtain a New York State license.
- Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to patient care, medical education, and scholarly activities.
