We are seeking an experienced Automation Technician to join our team at Volt Workforce Solutions in West Columbia, SC.

Job Summary:

  • Supports hardware and software design and development
  • Maintains system operation by adjusting, repairing, replacing, or modifying components
  • Troubleshoots electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and components
  • Analyzes test results and implements changes to resolve problems
  • Records procedures and results, numerical and graphical data, and recommendations for changes in product or method
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Associate's degree, military training, equivalent vocational training, or equivalent experience
  • At least 2 years of related experience
  • Strong understanding of PLCs and ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $28-$38 per hour, based on factors such as education, work experience, location, specific job duties, and certifications.
