About the Role

We are seeking a Housekeeping Specialist to join our team. As a Housekeeping Specialist, you will be responsible for performing housekeeping and cleaning duties, including dusting and damp mopping floors, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, and removing and disposing of trash. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to all safety precautions and guidelines.

Responsibilities
  • Perform housekeeping and cleaning duties, including dusting and damp mopping floors, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, and removing and disposing of trash.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to all safety precautions and guidelines.
  • Utilize personal protective equipment and follow infection control and universal precautions policies and procedures.
  • Respond to the paging system in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Provide positive and pleasant interactions with residents, staff, and facility guests.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
  • Ability to work around food and cleaning products.
  • Ability to live in the service area.
