About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Ophthalmic Technician to join our team at Texas Macula & Retina PLLC. As an Ophthalmic Technician, you will be responsible for providing top-notch patient care and support to our physicians.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for treatments and minor procedures
  • Measure and record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rate)
  • Assist physicians with examinations and treatments
  • Perform basic visual field testing and patient education

Requirements and Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or higher
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent keyboard skills
  • Ability to understand and correctly spell medical terminology and numbers as percentages
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
