Job Summary

A well-established Alaska real estate development firm is seeking a reliable and experienced painter to join their team in Anchorage. This is a great opportunity to work with a dynamic local company with good long-term employment potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete tasks using standard methods, materials, tools, and equipment of the paint trade.
  • Paint interior and exterior of commercial properties.
  • Expertise in paint work preparation, protection, application, color mixing, and minor repair work as needed.
  • Scaffolding setup and pre-painting preparations as required.
  • Experience with painting equipment, such as power washers, paint sprayers, and scaffolding.
  • Physical stamina needed to meet the demands of this role, comfortable working on ladders and scaffolding.
  • Comply with OSHA regulations and adhere to occupational hazards and safety precautions necessary in paint work.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years professional painting experience.
  • Self-starter and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Responsible, reliable, prompt, good attendance, team player.
  • A valid Alaska driver's license, reliable personal transportation to travel to properties is required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Background Check and Drug Screening is required.
