About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at Emerson Group. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting industry-leading measurement and analytical instrumentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop Emerson's Automation Solutions products
  • Utilize electrical design and development tools to capture circuit design schematics, lay out printed circuit boards, and perform circuit simulations
  • Perform electronic testing using common laboratory equipment
  • Research and develop new ideas and technologies for implementation into our products
  • Evaluate Emerson systems and electronic circuits to a functional block or component level
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Zero (0) years of applicable experience
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge and experience using standard electrical test tools, including oscilloscopes, bench power suppliers, digital multimeters, and function generators
  • Familiarity with Cadence Schematic Capture and PCB layout tools
  • Familiarity with electronic simulation tools, such as PSpice
  • Familiarity with data acquisition using LabView, C#
