Sentara Medical Group is actively seeking a Flex/PRN Acute Care Advanced Practice Provider to enhance its Hospital Medicine team. This role is based at a community hospital dedicated to serving a diverse population.
Work Schedule
Rotating shifts are required, providing flexibility in your work-life balance.
Position Highlights
- Collaborative scheduling based on mutual agreement
- Manage an average of 10-12 patients daily
- Participate in a team with an average daily census of 130 patients
- Work alongside a dedicated team of 26 Physicians and 10 Advanced Practice Providers
- Utilize a fully integrated Electronic Health Record system (Epic)

Qualifications
Candidates must possess the following:
- Master’s Level Degree in Nursing (Required)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
- Authorization to Prescribe License in relevant states
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Active Nurse Practitioner License
