Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Primrose School at The Park. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing a high-quality educational experience for our young students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Classroom Management: Supervise and enforce daily class routines to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
  • Health and Safety: Observe and adhere to health and safety rules and regulations to maintain a secure and healthy environment for our students.
  • Assessment and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate assessments and portfolios to track student progress and development.
  • Lesson Planning: Implement lesson plans and daily classroom schedules to promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in our students.
  • Classroom Maintenance: Accept responsibility for general housekeeping duties of the classroom to maintain a clean and organized learning environment.
  • Professional Development: Attend all required staff meetings, workshops, and school functions to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
  • Personal Appearance: Maintain a professional personal appearance at all times.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Assist in other capacities as determined by the Owner/Director to support the smooth operation of the school.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Must meet basic requirements of local childcare regulatory agencies.
  • Experience: Previous teaching or assistant teaching position in a licensed early childhood program.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
  • Education: 2 or 4-year degree in early childhood or a related field preferred.
