We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Primrose School at The Park. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children to grow and develop.
Key Responsibilities- Classroom Management: Supervise and enforce daily class routines, ensuring a safe and organized learning environment.
- Health and Safety: Observe and adhere to health and safety rules and regulations, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment for children.
- Assessment and Planning: Maintain accurate assessments and portfolios, implementing lesson plans and daily classroom schedules that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
- Housekeeping and Maintenance: Accept responsibility for general housekeeping duties of the classroom, ensuring a tidy and well-maintained space for children to learn and play.
- Professional Development: Attend all required staff meetings, workshops, and school functions, maintaining a commitment to ongoing professional growth and development.
- Personal Appearance: Maintain a professional personal appearance, adhering to our school's dress code and standards.
- Education and Experience: Must meet basic requirements of local childcare regulatory agencies, with previous teaching or assistant teaching experience in a licensed early childhood program.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
- Desired Qualifications: A 2 or 4-year degree in early childhood or a related field is preferred.
