We are seeking a compassionate and experienced mental health professional to join our team as a therapist for our Ashland and Wayne County offices. The program offers creative treatment for children from preschool age through high school and their families to enhance their strengths while treating each individual with professionalism and respect.

Responsibilities:
  • Apply evidence-based practices to help those we serve achieve positive outcomes.
  • Provide trauma-informed care to clients who may have experienced abuse or neglect.
  • Meet and exceed all productivity and notes/clinical documentation requirements as defined by our organization, licensing, and accrediting bodies.
  • Foster a supportive environment by developing therapeutic relationships with those we serve and strong professional relationships with our colleagues and leadership.
  • Provide excellent care to children and their families in the office, home, school, and/or community setting as clinically indicated.
Requirements:
  • Masters in Counseling Psychology (LPS) or related field.
  • Must be bilingual - Spanish/English only.
  • Masters or better in Social Work.
  • Must have a strong understanding of addiction and mental illness.
  • Must be able to form effective working and therapeutic relationships.
  • Must be able to effectively and productively work with people of diverse economic, cultural, and administrative backgrounds.
  • Must be knowledgeable and responsive to cultural diversity issues presented in the coordination of services.
  • Good working knowledge of computers with familiarity of Microsoft Office software.
  • Final applicant is required to be fingerprinted.
  • Two written references from a supervisor.

Ohio state license is required, and the license must be in hand upon submission. Weekend and on-call requirements are minimal.
