Clinical Coach: Nurturing Excellence in Patient Care

As a Clinical Coach, you will play a vital role in nurturing excellence in patient care, overseeing unit orientation for new nurses and guiding their progress from novice to fully competent professionals.
- Making daily rounds on orientee's patients, you will coach and encourage critical thinking of orientees.
- You will guide clinical discussions focused on patient care, using evidence-based practice as the basis for decision-making.
- Your expertise in nursing will be utilized to coordinate orientees' schedules, ensuring they have ample time for classes, testing, competency validation, and other essential events.
- In addition to these responsibilities, you will participate in orientee meetings, providing feedback to orientees and unit leadership.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3-5 years of recent RN experience in ED Nursing is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from a CCNE-accredited school is mandatory.
- Registered Nursing licensure by the Maryland Board of Nursing (MBON) or Compact State licensure is necessary.
- American Heart Association BLS and ACLS Certification is also required.
