Electronics Control Systems Specialist

Job Summary
Johnson Controls is seeking a skilled Electronics Control Systems Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our commissioning team, you will be responsible for performing system commissioning using Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools, troubleshooting and resolving basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and control problems, and responding to basic warranty calls.
Key Responsibilities
Loads system-level controller software and performs basic commissioning and system diagnostics from system-level controllers to end devices (i.e. sensors, actuators, etc) and completes all required commissioning documentation
Keeps management and JCI contractor or customer informed of job progress and issues
Calibrates systems requiring basic electronic test equipment
Completes administrative tasks including but not limited to time sheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation
Documents changes and provides information for as-built documentation
Communicates with the JCI contractor or customer upon arrival and before leaving the work site
Follows all safety standards and attends required safety training
Requirements
Vocational School four-year program graduate, an Associate degree in a technical field, or two years' experience in servicing electronic and or mechanical systems
Demonstrated ability to install and/or service electronic control systems and HVAC equipment
Effective communication skills to represent Johnson Controls on customer sites
Possesses the ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical people
Demonstrated effective writing skills as well as an understanding of programs and software applications
Knowledge of control theory, automatic temperature controls, building automation systems and other building subsystems
