- Office Setup: Open the office and prepare the lobby for patient success, including setting up front desk equipment and managing lobby music.
- Positive Environment: Foster a positive and motivating work environment to enhance team morale and patient satisfaction.
- Daily Operations Management: Oversee all day-to-day operations, including managing employee and patient relations, achieving operational goals, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Productivity and Profitability: Manage the overall productivity and profitability of the practice, including patient scheduling, staff productivity, and financial collections.
- Patient Growth and Retention: Support sales, marketing, and promotional programs to increase patient growth and retention.
- Operational Standards: Ensure successful execution of operational standards, including adherence to established company policies and procedures.
- Customer Service: Address and resolve all patient service issues to ensure excellent guest satisfaction.
- Team Management: Create and manage staff schedules, conduct performance reviews, and oversee staff development.
- Financial Assistance: Present treatment plans and assist patients in overcoming financial obstacles as needed.
- Reporting: Complete daily and monthly reporting to track office performance and financial metrics.
- Interdepartmental Communication: Attend meetings and collaborate with other departments to ensure cohesive practice operations.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in dental office management.
- Emotional Intelligence: High EQ to manage interpersonal relationships and enhance team dynamics.
- HR Knowledge: General understanding of HR policies, including performance reviews.
- Dental Insurance Expertise: Expert knowledge of dental insurance processes and procedures.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail in all aspects of office management.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Exemplary problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills.
- Technical Skills: Tech-savvy with experience in office software; Open Dental experience is a plus.
- Adaptability: Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
