Private Duty Nurse RN

Job Summary:
Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Private Duty Nurse RN to join our team. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will provide one-on-one care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes, assisting them with transitioning from the hospital and providing continuous care to ensure they can remain at home with their loved ones.
Responsibilities:
- Implement physicians' prescribed plans of care
- Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care
- Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
- Document care provided in a timely and compliant manner
- Teach and train family members on health promotion and disease management
- Communicate effectively with physicians, clients, family members, and staff
Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice
- CPR certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
- Reliable transportation
