Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at CGL Facility Management, LLC. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repair work on facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure that machines operate smoothly and efficiently
  • Respond to service requests to include electrical, HVAC systems, appliances, water heaters, and other required maintenance items
  • Assist in emergency maintenance as required, including sewage back-ups, water main and/or lateral breaks, and appliance repairs
  • Assemble, install, and/or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems, and plumbing
  • Operate plant equipment and building automation systems
  • Maintain equipment and tools in ready repair
  • Understand the proper use of equipment and chemicals and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1-3 years experience in building repairs and maintenance or in the specific area of assignment preferred
  • General knowledge of the following maintenance trades/skills: electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance
  • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions and perform physical work, as well as to lift weights of up to 50 pounds regularly and above 50 pounds occasionally
  • Must be a team player, have a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and reliable
  • Must be computer proficient
  • Certifications may be required at time of hire and/or obtained within required timeframe
