Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Geriatrician to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients in the Bronx, NY area.

Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Examine and treat patients with various medical conditions, including geriatric-related issues.
  • Diagnosis and Treatment: Analyze patient records and test results to diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans accordingly.
  • Medication and Therapy: Prescribe and administer medications, as well as provide therapy to patients as needed.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients on healthy lifestyle choices, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
Requirements
  • Education: MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school and completion of an accredited residency program.
  • Certification: Board certification in Geriatrics is required.
  • Licensure: Valid NY State license, CDS, DEA, and BLS certifications.
  • Experience: Completion of a Fellowship in Geriatrics and understanding of community healthcare principles.
